Police to crack down on impaired driving

NEW YORK State (WSYR-Television set) — The New York State Police wishes you to make positive this Halloween is a address and not a trick this weekend. 

Alongside with regional regulation enforcement, State Police will ship more patrols out to focus on those people who generate impaired.  

“One bad decision can transform fun Halloween celebrations into a nightmare. Children will be out strolling after dark, and drivers will need to training extraordinary warning. Never drink and drive. • Use your community’s sober experience program
• If you suspect a driver is drunk or impaired on the road, don’t hesitate to contact area law enforcement
• If you know anyone who is about to drive or journey while impaired, get their keys and aid them make other preparations to get to the place they are likely safely

For the duration of very last year’s Halloween initiative, State Troopers arrested 166 people for impaired driving and issued 7,922 complete tickets. Troopers also investigated 634 crashes, which resulted in a person fatality.
