Bellah, who is serving time for theft, is grateful for the Launch HOPE Foundation working experience. She explained with a heritage of theft, it is challenging to get a good occupation, but now she options to be self-used.

“It’s like a merry-go-round,” she said. “I really don’t want to steal. I really don’t want to use drugs. But I cannot wait around a few weeks to get a paycheck mainly because I was residing in a lodge. I have to go out and do this (steal). You’ve never experienced a hand to get off (the merry-go-round), and now I have that hand to get off. Which is what they do. God put me here for a purpose mainly because I was not heading to be stopped on my personal.”

Bellah earlier labored for Cake Bake in Broad Ripple and is experienced in cake decorating.
