About 100 participants took element in the initial-at any time Rio Rancho Community Schools Enjoyment Run Saturday at Joe Harris Elementary School.

The occasion, which honored Indigenous American Heritage month, was hosted by RRPS’s Federal, Bilingual and Indigenous American Applications Section.

The contributors, comprised of RRPS pupils and their households, college staff and other local community customers, could operate or walk the two-mile class. There was also a a person-mile option.

The program started with the rivals exiting by the school’s back again entrance toward Westside Boulevard and continue on all the way to Unser Boulevard. The competition then came again the reverse way on Westside Boulevard toward the college to comprehensive the race.
