Pia Wurtzbach is joining the New York Town marathon

The idea to sign up for a marathon competitiveness came throughout the New Yr when she had COVID and felt “just ill and tired of getting sick and exhausted.”

“I felt like, ‘Okay Pia if you don’t do it now, you are going to never ever do it,’” she mentioned. So she took the chance to sign up for the NYC marathon and “joined the registration (not beneath a manufacturer or org this time), built a donation and waited.”

“It didn’t acquire me [three] attempts this time,” she said, naturally referring to the a few periods she joined Bb. Pilipinas and eventually earn the Overlook Universe crown in 2015.

“And it feels so excellent to truly really feel and see progress. These days, my weekend runs go for 18 [kilometers]++ when a few months ago I [could not] even complete 3 [kilometers] without having hating almost everything. What I’m hoping to say is – it’s all achievable,” she described.

Wurtzbach, who is in Italy for a shorter getaway, finds it “a small hard to train” there “with all the pizza and gelato close to.”

“But LABAN (fight)! I’ll be sharing extra about my operating journey as race day gets nearer,” she told admirers. “Wish me luck.” JB
