The Oak Tree Place Club Women’s Golfing Club celebrates their year’s accomplishments both equally on the program and off with an Annual Awards Luncheon and this calendar year was no different. One of the major celebrations of the day is the donation of toys to the Toys for Tehachapi group.
Every lady attending the event provides at the very least just one unwrapped toy. Other than these toys, this calendar year the Women Auxiliary Veterans Group gave the club $120, by using Linda Cross, with which to obtain toys as well. Club member Sharon Lozar applied that revenue to incorporate to the stack of toys.
The Bear Valley Springs VIPS (Volunteers in Law enforcement Service) Toys for Tehachapi application chief Mike Chiarini, alongside with BVS officers Stacy Arebalo and Jay Rivera, gathered the toys all through the club’s luncheon on Saturday, Dec. 4. Anyone collected all over the toys for a photo, when Mike gave them all a huge thank you. Mike then defined to the females how this toy plan works.
The VIPS obtain toys from all around Bear Valley Springs and the Tehachapi area. The toys are then taken to a secure location in which they are sorted and wrapped. Each and every toy is then tagged by age group and gender. Between many group services, the VIPS find out of the households who are in require and for whom a gift of a toy for each individual little one would be considerably welcomed. In addition, they also offer food and reward playing cards to these households to ensure they have a holiday getaway meal.
If anyone wishes to donate a toy or revenue or gift playing cards, it is all wanted and used to aid our area Tehachapi families celebrate the vacations. Get hold of the VIPS at 661-821-3239 to make your tax-deductible donation.
