PORTLAND METRO Spot, Ore. (KPTV) – A great deal of the area is waking up to a new layer of snow blanketing the ground, anywhere from 1 to seven inches, on Sunday early morning.

There is a wide assortment of snow totals as the climate program continued to transfer throughout southwest Washington and northwest Oregon.

9:30am and I see a large range of snow totals. Seems to be like bulk of metro spot has picked up a Trace to 1.5″, but 4-5″ Forest Grove, South Salem, Newberg, & Albany. The Forest Grove Fire Department described seven inches on the floor late Sunday early morning.

FOX 12 main meteorologist Mark Nelsen mentioned most of the metro location picked up a trace to an inch-and-a-50 percent. Totals have been higher in destinations together with Salem, Newberg and Albany. Some viewers ended up reporting much more than five inches in Salem.
