New superior tech crime device coming to Allen County

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Allen County will shortly have a new superior tech criminal offense device.

The Indiana Condition Law enforcement was formerly accountable for requests associated to large tech crime. Owing to a backlog of requests, area prosecutors questioned point out legislators for the funding to enable legislation enforcement and prosecutors evaluate electronic evidence on mobile telephones, social media, and so on.

Legislators then divided the point out into 10 regions. Each individual region was then given $285,000 to either produce their very own large tech criminal offense device or to spouse with a device in the area.

Allen County will be liable for 8 other counties in northeast Indiana. The device will also companion with Indiana Tech and the Fort Wayne Police forensics crime lab.
