ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Virginia Tech pupils are returning to campus, but matters will seem a little bit different. Learners are now expected to be thoroughly vaccinated — this contains the booster. They will also have to don a mask indoors at all periods and have a adverse COVID examination in advance of returning to campus.

“Our aim is to be alongside one another but in a safe and sound way,” reported College Spokesperson Mark Owczarski.

OwcZarski states the new coronavirus protocols this semester are meant to offer further protection for college students amid a different surge of COVID-19 circumstances.

“We’re striving to stage up the activity simply because the omicron variant has modified how we have to respond and behave,” reported Owczarski.

Learners will not be permitted into dorms with no proof of a detrimental coronavirus check along with receiving totally vaccinated when suitable. They also must wear masks indoors at all instances.

Dad or mum Dennis Haley is dropping off his freshman daughter and says the protocols are required with the large amount of learners.
