HOUGHTON, Mich. (WLUC) – Michigan Tech Athletics has employed Jordan Ferguson as the Head Strength and Conditioning Mentor. In his role, Ferguson will develop, employ, and lead sports activities-precise power and conditioning applications that aid optimum advantages for all scholar-athletes to the two optimize general performance and lower harm probable for the 14 NCAA Division II courses and esports.

Ferguson, a indigenous of Alpena, Michigan, is a Certified Power and Conditioning Specialist from the Nationwide Power and Conditioning Affiliation and has led the toughness and conditioning efforts for the Michigan Tech soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, and soccer systems given that July. He served as a Graduate Assistant from January 2021-July 2021, working with the football crew. Ferguson has also consulted with the observe and industry, cross region, and Nordic ski groups.

Ferguson holds a bachelor’s of science in sporting activities and health and fitness administration and a coaching certificate from Michigan Tech and performed fullback on the football staff from 2015-20.
