Today’s “A Daily life Remembered” is about Michael T. Myers, who died Nov. 9 at the age of 71.
For those people whose lives were touched by “Michael T,” that wide smile and blast of laughter is probably not leaving their recollections before long.
That’s due to the fact anything at all tough in the entire world seemed to disappear briefly with some mild-hearted times from a resourceful dude who delved into every little thing from magic to the ministry, entrepreneurship to teaching and tv exhibits to crafting.
Perhaps Michael T, formally identified as Michael T. Myers, is generally remembered for the magic demonstrates he staged at birthday parties and neighborhood fraternal and local community businesses all around the Tri-Point out spot. Dressed in colorful outfits, Michael T enjoyed weaving a bit of secret and audience participation into his performances.
And magic evolved into a deeper which means of existence for him.
He satisfied a minister who liked to distribute the term of the Gospel through magic. Michael T was fascinated by the strategy, and came up with his own type which he known as “Edutainment.”
“It just took off,” stated his spouse, JJ.
Michael T was ordained in the Fellowship of Bible Churches when he was 21 yrs aged. It was the exact same time he was likely to higher education, which began at Hagerstown Community College or university. The 1968 Boonsboro Substantial University graduate transferred to Shepherd Higher education, now Shepherd College, researching subjects that appeared to blend with the ministry: English, speech, drama and broadcasting. ‘Never sat still’
He practiced his kind of magic and ministry in church buildings throughout the space, and traveled all around the entire world in mission work.
