Massillon's Pleasurable Fest offers people free of charge functions, amusement

A variety of activities are available for kids during the Fun Fest in downtown Massillon. The Fun Fest is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday on the lawn of the Massillon Museum and Duncan Plaza.

MASSILLON — Are you searching for a little something entertaining to do this weekend? Youngsters and the younger at heart are invited to Enjoyable Fest, an instructional and entertaining celebration giving no cost things to do, entertainment and giveaways.

The event, hosted by MCTV, Massillon Museum and Downtown Massillon Affiliation, is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Activities will be centered on the Massillon Museum garden, 121 Lincoln Way E, Duncan Plaza and Initial Avenue SE.

Countless numbers of families have appreciated the annual function for the earlier 25 a long time.

Pleasurable Fest organizer Liz Gessner McAllister reported this year’s occasion is the most important they have hosted. Just about 90 corporations and entertainers are participating and there are some new groups.

Barb Schumacher, Downtown Massillon Affiliation board member, explained the cost-free actions draw a ton of families. She anticipates even more attending this year’s occasion with the increasing charges of just about almost everything from college supplies to groceries to fuel.

“It is a nice occasion for people,” she claimed. “There are unique events, crafts and activities. You can carry your kid for the working day and don’t have to spend any money.”
