ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) — The Maryland Department of Health and fitness will get started presenting COVID-19 vaccinations at Maryland’s six casinos this month, Gov. Larry Hogan stated Thursday.
The governor has encouraged Marylanders to get boosted, expressing it delivers the most security versus the virus and its variants. On Feb. 8, he launched VaxCash 2., a $2 million lottery to incentivize booster photographs.

“Getting a booster shot is a secure bet on your wellbeing, and tens of millions of Marylanders have already stepped up to get a single,” Hogan claimed Thursday.. “These clinics are yet another way to get much more vaccines to the group, and I want to thank our casinos throughout the state for currently being these good neighborhood partners.”
The health and fitness department will offer COVID-19 booster photographs at the state’s 6 casinos:
- Ocean Downs Casino in Berlin, beginning Feb. 18 and open up Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.
- Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland in Hanover, commencing Feb. 19 and open from midday to 5 p.m.
- MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, commencing Feb. 24 and open Thursdays and Fridays from midday to 6 p.m.
- Horseshoe Baltimore On line casino in Baltimore, starting Feb. 24 and open Thursdays and Fridays from midday to 6 p.m.
- Hollywood On line casino Perryville in Perryville, commencing Feb. 24 and open Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 6 p.m.
- Rocky Hole Casino & Resort in Flintstone, starting up Feb. 26 and open Thursdays and Fridays from midday to 6 p.m.
A Dundalk resident received $500,000 in the 1st week of the vaccine lottery.

Extra drawings will be held as soon as a week around the future 10 weeks for $50,000 prizes. On the 12th and last week, the lottery finishes with a drawing for a $1 million grand prize.
All people age 18 and older who has received all their vaccine doses and a booster shot in Maryland is eligible for the drawings.
