MARSHALL — Marshall firms on the lookout for support to refurbish their buildings can now use for up to $10,000 in matching grant funding.
On Thursday, the Marshall Economic Development Authority announced it has introduced back its Facade Advancement Matching Grant Program. The method provides nearby enterprises incentives to make improvements to the exterior look of their buildings, or do exterior repairs.
“We have gained requests from many nearby enterprises wanting to make advancements to their building’s exterior,” claimed Marshall EDA Director Lauren Deutz. “Our hope is that this incentive can help to alleviate fees and ultimately strengthen the in general look of our enterprise districts.”
The EDA offered the matching grant method at the time just before, in 2019. Deutz stated the grants assisted various enterprises complete tasks like adding new signs, new home windows, and updating entryways.
Corporations can utilize for up to $10,000 in matching grant money, Deutz reported. Some of the initiatives that can qualify for a grant involve paint or siding do the job, tuck pointing, window and doorway repairs, and restoring architectural specifics.
