Therefore, the HPSR local community simply cannot anymore convert a blind eye to this pressing planetary overall health challenge.

But the HPSR community is now stepping up. This year, we, a team of students and practitioners deeply concerned about the nexus of weather modify and wellness devices, started off a new Thematic Operating Team in HSG – TWG on Weather-Resilient and Sustainable Well being Units, which was officially introduced at the not too long ago concluded UN Climate Improve Convention (COP26) in Glasgow. In the coming decades, we hope to aid understanding and expertise exchange, advance frameworks and research techniques, and establish technical capability primarily among the subsequent era of scholars and practitioners – all for the progression of scholarship and exercise all-around the weather alter and health devices interface.
