ERWIN, Tenn. (WJHL) — Police are investigating a theft that took location Monday afternoon at a business enterprise in Erwin.
According to the Erwin Police Section, officers responded about 12:30 p.m. to The Dollars Organization, a hard cash progress and financial loan assistance at 1137 N. Main Avenue.
The officers had been advised that for the duration of the robbery, the suspect said he experienced a weapon but did not clearly show it. He still left out the again door with a environmentally friendly Financial institution of Tennessee bag made up of an “undetermined amount” of money.
The robber was explained as a Black person who was 6-foot-2-inches tall and weighed about 180 pounds. He was donning a brown jacket and darkish-coloured hoodie with an orange mask and orange gloves.
“This robbery is related to a robbery in a neighboring jurisdiction, and we are evaluating investigative data with that company,” Law enforcement Chief Regan Tilson claimed in a news release.
