JONES COUNTY, Overlook. (WDAM) – The Laurel-Jones County Library just wrapped up a active summer months.]
Kids relished a number of daily functions right before college began.
Now, the library is gearing up to provide more cost-free and pleasurable situations- this time offering a lot more in the direction of grown ups and teenagers.
”We’re ramping up for a ton of activities and I’m super enthusiastic for it,” Jessica Redd, Help Services director. “So, we have jelly-canning courses coming up, we have stitching courses, we have meal prepping, cookbook club, those are for grownups and then we have a teen escape room coming up that is for teens. We have teen cookie painting.”
In addition to these activities, the library also is looking to have much more sensory-friendly gatherings for children of all ages.
All future functions can be discovered on the library’s web site or by stopping at the Laurel-Jones County Library positioned at 530 Commerce St. in downtown Laurel.
