Japanese KENTUCKY (WSAZ) – In a video update posted on Facebook Sunday morning, Governor Andy Beshear confirmed the dying toll has risen to at minimum 26, right after devastating flooding in jap Kentucky.

He states they do know of additional bodies that have been recovered, but they are unable to affirm these fatalities at this time.

“We have hundreds of tens of millions of bucks of hurt, hundreds of folks displaced, but we are relocating and shifting rapidly,” reported Beshear.

Beshear claims the to start with travel trailers to support dwelling persons arrived in eastern Kentucky Saturday.

He explained Jenny Wiley State Park in Floyd County is full, but the trailers are there to assist increase ability.

Crews are performing to open Buckhorn Condition Park in Perry County.

“We want to make guaranteed we wrap our arms close to our jap Kentucky brothers and sisters and make absolutely sure they are alright,” stated Beshear.

Beshear warned extra rain is coming, and will hit parts that have been already flooded.

He’s warning persons to keep vigilant and risk-free, and get to increased ground or go to a shelter if you are living in a flood susceptible location.
