Not even 12 hours soon after playing their greatest match of the Kim Mulkey period, the LSU women’s basketball staff is leaving town for a Thanksgiving “business excursion.”
The Tigers engage in two games in the San Juan Shootout this week, New Mexico State on Friday and Missouri Point out on Saturday at Roberto Clemente Coliseum. The Tigers enjoy NMSU at 1:30 p.m. Friday and Missouri Point out at 11:15 a.m. Saturday.
Mulkey reminded her gamers soon after Tuesday’s 75-58 victory against Tulane that though there would be time for the beach, the aim is to earn two basketball game titles.
“I want them to recognize it is a enterprise vacation first, but we’re likely to have entertaining,” Mulkey stated. “Three-fourths of the staff hasn’t been there. Why not go there and let them place their bikinis on and love the waves, do what they want to do? They want to have an understanding of we want to go there and get two basketball video games. We’ve obtained to do a swift turnaround there.”
