WATERTOWN — Christin D. Filippelli wishes men and women to sense like they are at their dwelling when they take in at her new Court Street cafe.
She and her company companion Jessica R. Williams are renovating the building that the moment housed Severance Photo at 168 Court docket St. to open up The Eatery.
She hopes people today will really feel The Eatery will be a second dwelling for people and mates.
“I don’t want to be cliche and say like ‘Cheers,’” Ms. Filippelli reported, referring to the lyrics of the theme tune from the 1990s sitcom that “sometimes you want to go where everyone is aware your title.”
Construction has presently begun on the vacant constructing owned by area businessman Stephen J. Bradley.
When it opens, The Eatery will provide up “a wide assortment of choices” that incorporate breakfast, lunch and dinner with teas, coffees, smoothies and desserts baked in dwelling.
“I would describe our foods as foods you would make for your relatives and on your own if you had the time and favored cooking,” she said.

Clients can sign up for a coffee club that consists of a cup of espresso each individual day in a reusable cup for $125 for the year.
