What has spurred Serafini via the ups and downs of entrepreneurship is a belief in “choosing yourself”—as in “This is what I want my life to be. This is the path I’m keen to just take. These are the sacrifices I’m inclined to make,” he describes. “If we really do not have the courage to pick out ourselves, very little is likely to transpire.”
Serafini adopted this state of mind at an early age. “The 1st time I don’t forget seriously heading out on a limb and choosing myself was when I performed basketball,” he states. “I decided to try out for the 8th quality workforce. I was shorter than all people [who was trying out] and slower. Everybody was mild and was telling me, in essence, ‘Gustavo you’re not likely to make it.
