SAN DIEGO – A dense fog advisory will be in location for a lot of San Diego County right until Thursday early morning with low visibility anticipated to create dangerous driving conditions.
The National Weather conditions Service’s advisory involves the county’s coastal regions and valleys, which includes Carlsbad, Chula Vista, El Cajon, Encinitas, La Mesa, Countrywide City, San Marcos, Santee and Vista. It is anticipated to be in spot till 10 a.m. Thursday, according to NWS.
Visibility is stated as small as a quarter-mile in some areas of the county, including in Fallbrook. It is about 1 mile in Carlsbad and 3 miles at the San Diego Intercontinental Airport.
The final result is expected to build dangerous travel conditions on parts of Interstate 5, I-405, I-15 and Highway 163, the agency mentioned.
“If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and depart a great deal of length in advance of you,” NWS reported.
