A Roanoke man has been billed in link with a shooting early Friday at a Williamson Highway company.

Metropolis law enforcement have billed Jeffrey E. White, 52, with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

White was charged hours following police found a critically wounded adult male inside an unnamed business in the 3800 block of Williamson Highway. The gunshot target was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Healthcare facility for remedy. No data was introduced on the victim’s identify or situation.

The capturing stemmed from an before altercation involving the two men within the small business. “White was confronted by the sufferer of this incident outside of the business, which is when the capturing occurred,” a police information launch said.
