Grossmont School celebrated the topping of its new science, math and vocation technologies complex Friday to mark a milestone in the $37.1 million construction task.

Grossmont-Cuyamaca Local community University District Chancellor Lynn Neault said the new undertaking updates a cluster of ageing properties poorly in need of renovation and reconstruction to accommodate new technologies and other urgent pupil requirements.
