Ahead of her retirement at the end of this calendar year, Mecklenburg County Public Overall health Director Gibbie Harris was awarded North Carolina’s best honor, The Buy of the Prolonged Leaf Pine, for her commitment to serving the community by her work in Public Overall health more than the past four decades.
