FRANKFORT, KY (WOWK) – Kentucky Governor, Andy Beshear, warned Kentuckians about inclement weather conditions to come Sunday evening and Monday.
In a statement he urged citizens to “avoid nonessential travel” in outlining, “it’s tempting to consider the risk has handed mainly because mounting temperatures and rain this weekend have put together to swiftly melt snow and ice from our roadways. Unfortunately, temperatures are envisioned to fall radically this night, right away and into Monday early morning. The result will be flash freezing and the onset of ‘black ice’ that will make driving complicated. The snow could be almost gone, but the have to have for extraordinary caution stays.”
Places that will be effected the most will be those in Jap and Southern Kentucky.
