The matchup will be a homecoming for four customers of the Lady Raider system, as previous Woman Buffs head coach and recent Texas Tech head coach Krista Gerlich will make her return to Canyon.
Gerlich expended 7 seasons as the head mentor at West Texas, compiling a document of 168-53. She was the swiftest coach in WTA&M record to attain 100 wins, 125 wins and 150 wins, and led the Girl Buffs to a few Lone Star Meeting titles during her stint in Canyon.
Former West Texas standout Lexy Hightower, Main of Workers Jared Boyd and Director of Basketball Operations Jordan Vessels are also established to make their return to the FUBC, while Brynn Gerlich returns to Canyon, a position she also called house for in excess of a 50 %-10 years.
Hightower scored around 1,500 points in her job for West Texas and was a two-time Lone Star Meeting Participant of the 12 months. A graduate of nearby Amarillo significant college, Hightower was named the 2-6A

A previous standout for the Woman Buffs, Vessels performed in 126 video games in her West Texas A&M vocation, such as the 2014 D-II Countrywide Championship activity.
A graduate of West Texas A&M, Boyd served as a college student assistant below Gerlich, earning his Bachelor’s Diploma in Sports activities and Training Science from West Texas A&M in 2012.
