Georgia receiver George Pickens could see his initial action of the season on Saturday at Georgia Tech, based on what a resource close to the crew thinks and the course this has been heading. Pickens, a preseason All-SEC select, has been sidelined by a torn ACL he endured in March.

The staff has not confirmed that Pickens is cleared to participate in. As of Tuesday evening, head mentor Kirby Clever reported Pickens experienced nevertheless to be cleared but that still left time for it to happen amongst then and Saturday.

Good did say that Pickens was getting snaps with the 2nd and third groups throughout observe in an hard work to “integrate” himself in the party he was cleared. That was an indicator Pickens was shut and going in the path of taking part in.

Like any player returning from personal injury, it is dangerous to say Pickens is certain to perform right until he truly normally takes the industry. That could be the program and then one thing won’t truly feel correct through warmups. Pickens could also be cleared and not enjoy, like JT Daniels previous year who was cleared in week 2 but failed to enjoy till Georgia’s seventh activity.
