Ga. Tech syllabus underneath fireplace for ‘scamdemic’ comments

ATLANTA (WGCL/CBS46) – A math course at Georgia Tech feels a lot more like a philosophical discourse when a professor’s syllabus stirred controversy amid students and alumni.

Jace, a third-year scholar who questioned his very last-name to be omitted, stated he had witnessed discussion about social media and amongst his classmates soon after affiliate professor John McCuan’s syllabus commenced circulating.

In a statement to CBS46, McCuan claimed he hoped to inspire learners to consider for themselves:

“I needed to make it crystal clear to my learners that their health and fitness choices are none of my business enterprise significantly and that they will need to consider for themselves (as much as I am involved).  I did occur to point out my personal personal health decisions.  These also are no a single else’s enterprise as considerably as I am involved, but of course there are many quite a few directors (and other people with handle troubles) who are quite ahead to make these choices of mine their company.”
