A Frisco business enterprise owner who chartered a non-public jet to go to the Jan. 6 Donald Trump rally and then stormed the Capitol building was sentenced Tuesday to 7 days in jail, authorities mentioned.

Prosecutors questioned the judge to give Hyland 30 days behind bars, declaring that he and Schwab shouted insults at officers who were fighting with rioters while defending the Capitol. Hyland also explained to his co-defendants to wipe out evidence, and he lied to the FBI about the character of his involvement, the prosecutor wrote.
