FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. – The days may well be getting shorter, but the enjoyment goes into the night time in Franklin County. November Night Hikes begin upcoming week.
Each Tuesday in November, Franklin County Parks and Recreation will provide guided hikes at night in Waid Park.
It starts at 6 p.m. The hikes are about 2.5 miles.
It expenditures $5/hike or $15 for the 5 hike collection bundle.
“It’s just an opportunity to get folks out to working experience the trails at night time, in particular now that the times are obtaining shorter. It is difficult to get motivated.
