MELBOURNE — Florida Tech held its summer months graduation exercise routines Saturday early morning, conferring a total of 714 degrees, university officials explained.
Some 458 graduates have been on hand Saturday for the ceremony at the Clemente Centre on the university’s Melbourne campus, said Adam Lowenstein, director of media communications at Florida Tech.

Robert King, Florida Tech’s interim president, hosted the ceremony. The guest speaker was Bart Gaetjens, region external affairs supervisor for Florida Electric power & Light Co.
“I’m commending you, not just due to the fact you built it to this day, but for the reason that of the determination you manufactured many several years back that led you to this day,” King claimed, introducing that attending Florida Tech “will demonstrate to be the one very best expense you will have built in your existence.”
“What ever financial rewards you will practical experience as you pursue your desires and your careers, it was this expense that started out it all,” he claimed.
