Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade County Celebrates National Breastfeeding Month

Miami, Fla.— The Florida Office of Wellness (DOH) in Miami-Dade County is celebrating Nationwide Breastfeeding Month this August. In recognition, numerous Miami-Dade County corporations have partnered to host 2022 BreastfeedMIAMI. This year’s theme— Collectively We Do Terrific Items! – focuses on the electric power and impression our collective endeavours have on households and communities. This transpires as a result of our everyday endeavours as we offer assistance, aid and instruction to all toddlers, mothers, fathers, and the family device.

BreastfeedMIAMI is a group catalyst in advocating, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding to empower moms, fathers, associates, and families to breastfeed their small children all through Miami-Dade County. BreastfeedMIAMI envisions Miami-Dade County as a breastfeeding-pleasant group, with fairness, diversity, and inclusion.

In celebration of National Breastfeeding Thirty day period, BreastfeedMiami will be internet hosting many activities all through the neighborhood. All events are Totally free and open to the public.
