Festive Halloween entertaining for young children at Silver Park

Rain showers early Saturday cleared up in time for a wonderful late afternoon Fall Competition at Silver Park in Alliance. The occasion, sponsored by City of Alliance Parks and Recreation Division, provided functions for kids of all ages. Hayrides operated all through the event, and crafts, video games and contests were bundled. Far more than 80 little ones lined up for a prolonged Handle Path close to Kidwell Lake. The festival also featured a costume contest for small children ages 10 and more youthful. Winners are listed below by age team:

Ages 2 and youthful
