Farming way of life passed down through generations

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – These born into farming know what it’s like to get up earlier than any individual else and work later on than any person else. Ellen Tom is a sixth era farmer and has worked on her family’s cattle operation her whole existence.

“Every working day when I’m out there performing with my cattle, I continue to keep in intellect that this is a products that’s heading to feed and nourish people today all around the neighborhood, all over the United States, probably the environment, and that’s anything that is always in the back again of my mind,” reported Tom.

Farmers like Tom understands that their job is normally a thankless a single. Her appreciation will come from shoppers getting what she creates.

“I chose this way of living so I really do not believe that in asking for items from the general public. I’m just pleased that they appreciate my product and want to take in it. but I selected this function,” stated Tom.
