LANCASTER, Texas (AP) — The brother of retired NFL cornerback Aqib Talib turned himself in to authorities Monday after law enforcement determined him as a suspect in the capturing death of a mentor at a youth football activity in Texas.

Yaqub Salik Talib is suspected in the Saturday night time taking pictures that killed a guy, law enforcement in the Dallas-location metropolis of Lancaster said. Authorities have not still identified the person, but relatives and good friends say he was a coach.

Yaqub Talib’s legal professional, Clark Birdsall, advised The Linked Push that his client “regrets the tragic loss of daily life but self surrendered this morning so that he may possibly have the prospect to say his facet of the story.” Birdsall declined to elaborate on what Talib’s facet of the story is.

Dallas Television set station WFAA noted that the brothers are coaches for North Dallas United Bobcats, a youth football workforce.

Coaches with the youth staff D.E.A. Dragons recognized the guy killed as coach Mike Hickmon, WFAA claimed. Dragons president Mike Freeman stated the dispute started when Hickmon went to select up a football and a person kicked it away.

“I really do not know how to reveal it to the little ones. Which is the element that I’m stuck on right now. How do I reveal it to them. Why?” Freeman explained. “This is anything that these young ones will try to remember for the relaxation of their lifestyle.”
