Jeremiah Oatsvall is returning to the Ohio Valley Convention but not to the staff he played with before.

The 6-foot-1, 200 pound former Brentwood Academy quarterback, who was a standout at Austin Peay (2017-20) before transferring to Memphis, is transferring all over again, this time to Tennessee Tech.

“We are pretty excited to include Jeremiah Oatsvall to the Golden Eagle roster as a mid-yr transfer who will be readily available for spring observe,” Tech coach Dewayne Alexander told The Tennessean Monday. “Jeremiah is a competitor and a purely natural leader who will deliver energy and encounter to our crew and to our offense.”

Alexander hired previous Austin Peay offensive coordinator Wesley Satterfield as his offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach very last week. Satterfield was Oatsvall’s offensive coordinator for two seasons at Austin Peay ahead of starting to be large receivers mentor at Richmond.

Oatsvall grew to become Austin Peay’s commencing quarterback as a freshman in 2017 and led the Governors to an 8-4 overall document and a second-location complete in the OVC. He was named the OVC freshman of the year and manufactured the All OVC next group.
