Brian Westbrook is a Philadelphia athletics legend. Westbrook played eight of his nine occupation seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and attained two Pro Bowls selections. He is in the Eagles Hall of Fame. Now, Westbrook can include yet another accolade to his resume, author.

On Aug. 1, Westbrook is releasing his initial children’s book titled, “The Mouse Who Played Football.” The ebook was co-published by Westbrook and sports reporter, Lesley Van Arsdall. The illustration was accomplished by Mr. Tom.

When requested what created him decide to do this, Westbrook responded, “I’m married and I have 3 kids. A nine, five and 3 yr previous, and I see how they shift. I see how I have to transfer as a father or mother. So my life has shifted and pivoted. Matters have changed. So I thought this guide was a terrific opportunity to convey to them a tale, to chat to them and enable them see life as I noticed it as a younger gentleman, as a youthful kid.”

The reserve is about a mouse that needs to play in the Mouse Soccer League (MFL), but mainly because of his little sizing, his skills are doubted.

“When I acquired my copy. I was putting the children down and looking at it to them. I received psychological due to the fact I was like wow, this is genuinely my story. My kids ended up like this is a definitely superior e-book, whos it about? I was like you didn’t see or listen to any of this right before?” Westbrook jokingly said.

The book quite significantly parallels Westbrook’s tale. At 5’10, Westbrook weighed 205 lb when he was a functioning back for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was not very as smaller as a mouse, but he was not as huge as some of the other guys on the industry. Nonetheless, he was explosive and dominated the activity early on even on a collegiate level. Whilst actively playing for the Villanova Wildcats soccer group, he broke the all time NCAA file with 9,512 yards all intent yards.

The mouse in his reserve is tiny, but tough. The men and women all over him question he can make it to the MFL because of his measurement.
