Delta Kappa Gamma performed a conference April 14 at Crescent Metropolis Grade College. Delta Kappa Gamma is a qualified modern society which encourages development of its users and excellence in instruction.
The Lambda State of Illinois arranged March 16, 1935 in Chicago, and the community Gamma Nu chapter organized May 12, 1973, in Watseka. The team is presently gearing up for its 50th anniversary celebration upcoming spring. Just one of the group’s aims is to elevate funds for scholarships for potential instructors. Any teacher in Iroquois County is welcome to join the team and data can be attained by inquiring at nearby school offices.
All through the April conference new officers were elected and set up. The new officers are: Liz Martin, president Lynn Hasselbring, treasurer Emily Tuttle, secretary/membership, and Melissa Redeker, vice-president.
