GUTHRIE COUNTY – A Minnesota gentleman that was actively eluding an Adair County Deputy about 12:32 a.m. on Tuesday was killed when he was ejected from his bike on White Pole Street and Juniper Avenue.
Benjamin Todd Wilber, 30, of Mora, Minn., was using his 2013 Harley Davidson Motorbike, was “actively eluding an Adair County Deputy” eastbound on White Pole Street. The 2nd vehicle, a Guthrie County Deputy, Todd Thorn, 52, of Guthrie Middle, in a 2021 Chevy Silverado, waiting to aid with the pursuit, and was stopped on Juniper Avenue on the south facet of the intersection going through northbound. Wilber veered from White Pole Highway, striking the rear driver’s facet of the Silverado, on Juniper Avenue. Wilber was thrown from his motorbike, coming to rest in the southeast ditch, the two vehicles arrived to rest in the intersection.
Wilber died at the scene, and was transported to the State Professional medical Examiner by the funeral house.

The Adair County Sheriff’s workplace, Guthrie County Sheriff’s business and Iowa State Patrol assisted at the scene.
