KINGSTON – July 26, 2022 – University of Rhode Island professor Daniel Roxbury has been named to the Providence Enterprise News 40 Under Forty record.
The award recognizes people today under the age of 40 who have excelled in their career and are concerned in their communities.
Roxbury, 36, is an associate professor of chemical engineering whose investigation focuses on biomedical and nanotechnology. He operates the Higher education of Engineering’s NanoBio Engineering Laboratory, which employs “a assortment of imaging, spectroscopy, and other analytical tactics to examine the interactions concerning these engineered nanomaterials and biological devices,” according to its web page.
“I am extremely humbled and honored to obtain this award. There are numerous colleagues, learners, mates, and household that I’d like to thank for supporting me to arrive at this position in my career,” Roxbury said. “I strive to continue on this upward trajectory and make the URI Higher education of Engineering identified for its reducing edge investigation and educating excellence.”
He was introduced with the award at an event on Thursday, July 21 at the Aldrich Mansion in Warwick.
