“Quinceañeras, weddings, birthday parties, yard BBQ celebrations…People are nervous to rejoice, to go out,” claimed Miguel Guzman, with Mariachi Los Galleros de San Antonio.
Pair the gatherings that were being pushed back again with the new celebrations this 12 months, teams are participating in non-quit.
“It could be Thursday night time and they will simply call us and say, ‘Hey I have to have y’all tomorrow. Are y’all available for Saturday?’ And 95% of the time we’re not available simply because we are previously booked,” said Guzman.
Mariachi Los Galleros de San Antonio has doubled their perform, compared to 2019.
“Pre-COVID we ended up actively playing on a weekly foundation probably 6 hours,” said Guzman. “Now we’re performing everywhere from 12 to 15 engagements a week.”
