DUBOIS — Nationally regarded mountain dulcimer performer/instructor Joe Collins will check out DuBois on Monday, Aug. 15, to offer workshops and accomplish in concert. The things to do will be held at the DuBois Space Historic Society, 30 West Extensive Ave., DuBois, starting at 10 a.m.
The charge for a person workshop is $20 $30 for two $35 for three the fourth workshop is totally free if the other a few workshops are taken. Workshop individuals pay back at the door. - 10 a.m. Can You Sing with that Factor? (higher newbie & up). A workshop on working with the mountain dulcimer as an accompaniment instrument. The main target will be on using chords and strumming rhythms for accompaniment.

O’Carolan was a harpist/composer at the end of the 17th into the early 18th century. Although he never ever wrote down any of his tunes, in excess of 200 tunes have survived…
