THE FLATS – Georgia Tech soccer head coach Geoff Collins announced on Sunday that the contracts of 3 assistant coaches – offensive coordinator Dave Patenaude, co-defensive coordinator/safeties coach Nathan Burton and cornerbacks coach Jeff Popovich – will not be renewed.

“As I have started evaluating our plan and figuring out the things we need to do to be far more effective, I have decided that a change in management on the two sides of the ball is important,” Collins claimed. “I believe that new voices in these vital positions on our staff will let us to do a greater job of constantly placing our gamers in the ideal situation to meet up with the high standards we all have for our method.

“I thank Dave, Nate and Jeff for anything that they and their people have put into this method,” Collins ongoing. “They have place everything they have into creating the basis for the future of Ga Tech soccer, and I will be eternally grateful for their tricky get the job done, sacrifice, management and friendship.
