Zeta Phi Beta Sorority
Theta Mu Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority met July 16 for its yearly retreat at the Jefferson Convention Middle for a day of sisterly bonding, chapter management, chapter embellishment and scheduling for the forthcoming 2022-2023 fiscal 12 months.
The retreat began with prayer by Susan Moon, president, adopted by a discussion of chapter objectives and ambitions and a review of the sorority’s nationwide and regional initiatives. Zeta Phi Beta’s plan and initiatives incorporate the March of Dimes, Autism Awareness Education, Adopt a College, elder treatment, mental wellness, Global Gals of Coloration, Zeta Male Network and other individuals.
Discussion subjects integrated an update of the chapter bylaws by Wilma Jamerson, membership intake by Kay Holmes and 2022-23 goals for the undergraduate chapter at Jarvis Christian University by Brandis Jamerson and Jyasmin King. Members ended up assigned to different committees and ten chapter users in attendance participated in the chapter’s icebreaker. Door prizes were specified to associates and snacks ended up shared.
Pursuing the retreat, users toured and rode the Historic Jefferson Railway and dined at Don Juan’s Mexican Cafe. Birthdays, anniversaries and other milestones were being shared.
