PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Clark County general public health and fitness leaders and city councilors held a COVID-19 briefing Wednesday morning exactly where they claimed misinformation about the virus is putting life at possibility.
Dr. Alan Melnick refuted many false statements about vaccines and immunity to the virus during the briefing.
“When you get to the position when we’re likely to have, well if we ever get there to have 100% of the inhabitants vaccinated, practically all the situations would be vaccine breakthroughs,” reported Melnick. “But we have to feel about the numerator and the denominator in this article, and when you compare cases and the quantity of deaths for unvaccinated in comparison to vaccinated, the vaccines still earn out… This is seriously significant for the public to have an understanding of this.”
Some county board users said it was unlucky that public remark devolved to threats versus the county well being director.
