CHICAGO — The metropolis of Chicago is opening an investigation into business techniques at Parlor Pizza.
Two town departments are hunting into whether or not the cafe team violated labor and discrimination ordinances.
The investigation arrives immediately after allegations that Pizza Parlor did not spend employees for time beyond regulation. Allegations also brought in opposition to the cafe counsel Pizza Parlor discriminated against consumers mainly because of their race.
Parlor Pizza introduced a statement stating they firmly refute the allegations and will cooperate with any investigation:
We firmly dispute these serious allegations and the blatantly fake photograph staying painted of our eating places, how we work them and how we treat our valued employees and prospects.
We disavow racism and any discriminatory behavior at all Parlor locations and would straight away terminate any personnel who acted in such a despicable way.
Respect, dignity and professionalism are the bedrocks of our office insurance policies and culture. This is more than a business enterprise to us – we treatment deeply about our hundreds of staff, who are really hard-doing the job, dedicated and as various as the customers we are happy to provide.
We will entirely cooperate with any governing administration agency examining our organization operations and we are assured that a fact-finding process will disprove the allegations.
It is not the only trouble the restaurant group is struggling with. Very last month, their three places have been raided by police who claimed they have been helping an Illinois Division of Income investigation.
