ST. MARTIN —November 8, 2021. Chatfield Higher education hosted their yearly Fall Festival featuring the Quilt, Craft, and Car or truck Clearly show and the Alumni Homecoming on Saturday, Oct 23, 2021. The Quilt, Craft, and Car Demonstrate have very long been a community favored, and this calendar year incorporated the addition of food items trucks from Angela’s Curbside and Driscoll Concessions.
“After a 12 months of hiatus thanks to Covid-19, we had been thrilled to welcome individuals back again to our campus and rejoice community,” claimed Kelly Watson, Director of Growth and coordinator of the celebration. “The volunteer committee was devoted to bringing again this enjoyment once-a-year party and labored tirelessly to make sure our friends experienced a harmless and memorable knowledge.” Watson also additional, “This year, we extra an alumni homecoming and have been blessed to welcome back 20 alumni, such as two Ugandan college students who researched at Chatfield in the 1970s.”
Family members appreciated truck rides all over the campus, video games, pumpkin painting, trunk or handle, historic campus excursions led by Sr. Patricia Homan, costume contest, and live tunes. Nineteen neighborhood crafters and artisans also participated in the craft display.
Fifty-two quilts entered in this year’s demonstrate. Chatfield College’s Quilt Exhibit is the longest-managing quilt display in Brown County, OH. Company of the quilt clearly show voted by ballot for the Viewer’s Preference awards. The next quilters received in these classes:

· Machine-stitched Wall Quilt: Laura Osborn-Coffey
· Hand-stitched Bed Quilt: Patricia Brink
· Equipment-stitched Bed Quilt: Laura Loftin
This celebration featured 96 cars and trucks and bikes in the basic car or truck and bike exhibit. The subsequent individuals received in these classes:
· Greatest of Exhibit: R.W. Salt, 1947 Chevy Aero Tailor made
· O’Reilly’s Choose: Mack and Linda Jordan, 1950 3100 Decide-up truck
· 1st Position Bike: Dave Burge, 2015 Harley
· Initial Position 1995 and Older: Scott Renaker, 1967 Camaro
· 1st Location 1996 and Newer: Ethan Winters, 2005 Viper
