BENTON, Ark. – The metropolis of Benton made its individual winter wonderland, opening up an ice rink in the downtown place. 

Staff with the Benton Parks and Recreation Department had the idea in 2020 but had been unable to open simply because of the pandemic. 

With the assistance of Everett Buick and GMC, they were being equipped to invest in the rink and a plastic flooring that acts like ice. The skates are dulled down to support them slide about the floor. 

It’s 1 aspect of their 22 days of compact-town Christmas celebration that features functions like cookie decorating contests, letters to Santa and Mistletoe Current market kicking off Saturday at 10:00 a.m. 

The ice rink is positioned at the downtown Benton Farmers Industry at 125 Ashley St. It is open up every working day and costs $3 for each person.
