Through a general public listening to held prior to their frequent conference, the Bayard Metropolis Council voted Monday to reject M&M Auto’s software for a city small business license renewal.
Resident Steve Gabaree, who lives around the vehicle shop, opened the hearing by presenting a letter detailing his activities and the city rules on zoning, and questioned the council to disapprove the license.
M&M operator Marisa Valenzuela mentioned that the business is currently doing work on fixing the complications that have been addressed to them.
“We never have to comply, but we’re carrying out it to preserve the peace. We’re carrying out it to be Ok with the people — these two men and women,” she reported.
M&M owner Matthew Valenzuela explained that he helps make his dwelling through the enterprise, which he operates to enable the local community. M&M worker Kenneth Martinez attested to the group benefit of the business.
