Ascarate Park is internet hosting a Santa Paws Pet Wander on Saturday, Dec. 11 to develop consciousness about the great importance of spaying and neutering animals inside of El Paso County.
The general public is invited to convey their animals for a stroll about Ascarate Lake at the park, 6900 Delta, from 8 a.m. to midday. Pet photos with Santa, crafts for the little ones and other actions will be part of the function.
Pre-registration begins Wednesday, Dec. 8 at the Parks and Recreation workplaces at the park. Registration is also open the day of the occasion.
Cost is $5-$10.
Proceeds reward the Animal Welfare Section Pet Wellness Clinic, which delivers totally free microchipping, vaccinations, spaying and neutering providers.
